Tile Description
The botanical world comes alive in this fine art inspired collection by designer Paula Purroy. A variety of materials, including glass, real silver, and real gold, are applied to the oversized tiles, which are fired between every application. And while there are high-tech aspects to production, artisans are involved in selecting colors and materials; and temperatures during multiple firings. The result is an expandable work of art with the lifelike look of a painting or mural, rendered in porcelain.
